Yesterday afternoon, while I was shopping at Lowes, I received a text from a friend informing me that comedian Patrice O'Neal had passed away. WHAT? But he was so young! I was in shock! My friend told me that he'd heard it on the "Opie and Anthony" radio show on Sirius XM Satellite radio. Not that I didn't believe my friend, but I needed confirmation, so I quickly text a friend who handles the publicity at Carolines on Broadway, and I also hit up my friend and "That Metal Show" co-host, comedian Don Jamieson. Don replied with a single word, "Yes," which told me that he might've been broken up about it or he just didn't want to talk about it, but that was confirmation enough for me. My friend from Carolines on Broadway never answered, which was weird because all of my meetings with Patrice took place at the premiere comedy club.

For those who don't know Patrice, he was brilliant comedian who brought many fans to tears with laughter as he would joke about his weight and race. He's even appeared in movies like "Scary Movie 4" and "Furry Vengeance", and TV shows like "The Office" and "Arrested Development". His last TV appearance was as a roaster on the Charlie Sheen Roast. Well, Patrice, who was suffering from diabetes, had a stroke back in October, and a little bit more than a month later, the funnyman died.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, the 6-foot-4, 300-pound Patrice suffered from diabetes for much of his adult life. He lived in Jersey City, NJ and was a longtime fixture on the New York and Los Angeles comedy scenes. Patrice is survived by his wife, Vondecarlo, stepdaughter, Aymilyon, and his sister, Ziner.

Normally, I could care less about a celebrity death, but like I said earlier, I actually got to hang out with Patrice a few times down at Carolines On Broadway, and he really was a gentle giant, and a hilarious one at that. I remember, my friend, Greg from Carolines, and I were headed to a WWE event at Madison Square Garden and Patrice was sitting at the bar at Carolines and we talked for a little while before we headed to the event. I told Patrice that I was interested in writing for the WWE, and he told me that he was a writer for them on two different occasions. He told me that I wouldn't like it because the McMahon family was a little too controlling and that he didn't have the freedom to write whatever he wanted. Another time, I remembered hanging out at Carolines for drinks, and it was a night Patrice was actually hosting, so after he did a 15-minute routine, he came out by the bar to hang out with us, and a white couple, from like Iowa or something, came out and asked for their money back because they were offended by Patrice's racist remarks. Patrice actually said to them, "What did you guys expect to hear when you came to a comedy club, and the club was filled with black people? Jokes about black people?" At that point, the couple just left while we just sat their and laughed!

Patrice was a very funny guy, and I am happy to have, at least, known him for a little while. I only wished that I had the chance to see him again before he passed away. His moments on the "Opie and Anthony Show" were priceless and like Opie tweeted on his Twitter account, "Patrice was the funniest and best thinker I've ever known PERIOD!" And with that we say, good-bye, Patrice O'Neal, Rest In Peace.

I know that the whole 'Herman Cain 13-year love affair' fiasco might be today's top news story, but did you really want me to waste my blog space writing about another smear campaign? Plus, the story about about the idiot on the left is much more compelling. You see, the imbecile to the left, Carlos Rivera, a 23-year-old from from Florida, kidnapped the baby daughter of a prostitute that he hired because he was angry that the woman stopped having sex with him. Are you kidding me? Some people have some real cojones!

Over the weekend, cops from Florida's Volusia County and their bloodhounds found 1-year-old, Lupita Gonzalez, in a field two miles from the house where her mom, Leah Wiley, and Rivera were shacked up during a drug-fueled binge.

It turns out, Rivera paid Wiley for sex, but he got mad when she ditched him and went into another room of the house. Rivera then grabbed little Lupita and ran out of the house, but after taking the baby, Rivera got nervous that Wiley would call the cops (duh!), so he tossed Lupita into the nearby field. He then called the police to report the baby missing, but initially claimed he had no knowledge about what happened to her. A spokesman for the sheriff's office said that they knew something was up because Rivera's call made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Little Lupita was taken to a hospital immediately after being found, though her condition wasn't clear, as of now. Rivera was arrested and is being held without bail at county lockup for child abuse and kidnapping, as well as other outstanding charges. I'm thinking illegal immigration, maybe? Mom Wiley is at the same jail facing child endangerment charges. Okay, I'm sorry, but I have to say this! Just look at Leah Wiley's picture on the right. She's a prostitute? And this Rivera guy deemed it okay to steal her baby and put himself in legal disarray because she wouldn't have sex with him? After looking at this picture, first, I wouldn't have paid for sex with this hideous wreck, and secondly, if she wanted to stop having sex with me, I would have been ecstatic! I wouldn't have committed a crime to get back at her. Then again, that's just me.

Child welfare officials took custody of little Lupita, along with Wiley's two other kids. Another thing that bothers me about this story is that this hooker actually has children and she was raising them in that type of environment. I feel that arresting both Wiley and Rivera was the right thing to do, but now what happens to the kids? The more I read about people in the news, the more they just piss me off. Some people should just not have children!

I read this story over the weekend and am still sick over it! In a nutshell, this young Bronx man, David Clarke, spent the past four years in prison at Riker's Island for a murder that he didn't commit, and he spent the past four years desperately trying to prove that he was, indeed, innocent.

The unique thing about this story was that David was a National Honor Society Student, who was a sure bet for a full academic scholarship through college before his 2007 arrest. To prove his innocence, David would send these really well-written letters to endless recipients in hopes to be freed. Some of the letters would read: “I feel like I am trapped in a system that was designed to try to keep me in jail rather than find justice. I am not looking for sympathy from anyone, nor am I looking for any favors. All I want is a fair trial to prove that I am innocent.”

In March of this year, the clean-cut, soft-spoken 23-year-old, left his Riker's cell for a Bronx courtroom, where a jury of his peers needed only 20 minutes to acquit him after a monthlong trial. The jury felt so badly about Clarke's case that they didn't even break for lunch because they didn't want him to spend another minute in jail. The words "Not Guilty" rang through Clarke's ears for the next eight months until last week when he was gunned down and killed by an unknown gunman in front of his Bronx home.

That's right! The ex-murder suspect became a murder victim, in a 'penne-ante' neighborhood beef that was unrelated to the prior murder case. It turns out, David Clarke won a fist fight last week, and the loser vowed to come back with a gun for revenge. According to Clarke's friend, they thought that it was a joke since the kid was around 16 or 17, but he apparently came back five minutes later and started shooting. Clarke was shot in the neck and would bleed to death while the shooter fled and is still at large.

Clarke's mother and family were devastated as she cried, "Four years in Rikers, to come here and die in eight months? It's not even fair!" She's right! This was not fair! This kid had a bright future before the judicial system wrongfully accused him of murder. He was on track to make a good life for himself and his single mother, as an honor student who almost got a free ride through college. Clarke worked every day to help his mother pay her bills. When he was identified by witnesses as the one who stabbed 20-year-old, Jonathan Diaz, in February 2007, months after the slaying, Clarke would falsely admit to the murder, which he would claim was 'under duress'. The arrest would put his college dreams on hold. He was even forced to get his GED in jail, as opposed to receiving an actual high school diploma. His mother said that he was even searching for Universities online days before his untimely death.

This story just kills me because first of all, you never want to see someone die, but secondly, you never want to see someone die who is trying to make something of themselves. The person who took David's life should be found and tortured for taking this poor kid's life!

I was just talking to somebody about this the other day. Isn't  funny how people seem to be tougher when their behind a computer keyboard? Seriously, it seems that people you wouldn't expect to pick a fight with you, are doing so from their smartphones or computer keyboards because they know that you can't get to them to kick their asses. In my case, I'll sit on what you said, and wait till the next time I see you! But what if you never get that chance to see the person making fun of you from behind the computer keyboard? That was the case for Washington Redskins wide out, Jabar Gaffney, after his teams heartbreaking loss to my Dallas Cowboys in overtime.

Everyone knows that each Sunday tempers flare along losing sidelines throughout the NFL. Afterall, these players spend all week preparing for one game, a loss can be pretty devastating to a team. It can take players hours, maybe even days to get over. Sometimes, the frustration might even go home with the players, and finds them venting on their social media accounts. In Jabar Gaffney's case, after suffering the overtime loss to my Cowboys, the Redskins receiver was in no mood for a mocking tweet from a Cowboys fan that read: "lmao 3 and 9." Gaffney was not only unamused by the Tweet. He actually pointed out that the fan was incorrect, tweeting back, "We 3 and 7, dumb fuck!" Technically, Gaffney could've let it go right there, but he then tweeted at the fan, "3 and 7 ain't a record to be proud of I’m just proud I ain't you. get a life or kill urself!" Although, Gaffney decided to delete the tweet after, it continued to circulate around Twitter via retweets.

The retweets created unwanted attention for Gaffney, especially from the NFL Commissioner, causing him to backtrack with: "They say I can't tell people to kill themselves. didn't know freedom of speech had limitations." He then went on to tweet, "sorry for the neg attention NFL I didn't mean what I said literally I should've chosen better words. I do not encourage suicide." The funny thing about this whole incident is that Gaffney only joined Twitter last week at the urging of teammates. It only took a few days for the star receiver to learn that everything he writes on Twitter is open to public scrutiny.

Gaffney ended his tweeting with "Hahahaha I see twitter give a lot of people courage. I wonder what would happen for real? I'm done wit this twitter shit!" I have to agree with him! Although, I too am a Cowboys fan, would this fan have taunted Jabar Gaffney to his face? I highly doubt it! These people have 'keystroke muscles' and they're unbelievable!

No word on whether Gaffney will be fined for the incident, but considering that Jets head coach Rex Ryan was docked $75,000 by the league for yelling derrogatory words at a fan that was videotaped and went viral, it's a safe bet that the Redskins wide receiver should expect a call from Goodell in the near future, and that's B.S.!

So, everyone knows that Brooklyn, New York is known for it's pizza, among other things. I mean, Brooklyn pizza might be some of the best pizza I've ever eaten next to Pizza Town in Garfield, New Jersey, and besides, how can you go wrong with places like Spumoni Gardens in your town? Well, ask Di Fara Pizza, who was shut down on Monday by the City Health Department for 67 health violations. Yes, I said 67 health violations!

Fans of the legendary Brooklyn pizza joint Di Fara's were sad to hear that the legendary pie slinger was shut down on Monday for failing a health inspection. Di Fara Pizza, known for their $5 slices, is often called the best in the city, and winning the top spot from Zagat in 2010 and 2011, with a line that can stretch around the block on a nightly basis.
Last week, a New York City Health Department inspection found 67 health code violations at the Midwood pizza joint, including signs of mice and flies, food stored at too-high temperatures, and workers wearing soiled garments. This wasn't the first time that the cult eatery had Health Department troubles, as they've been shut down twice in 2007. Dom DeMarco Jr. brushed off the violations and said that he and his family expects to reopen on Wednesday, but only if his dad and owner, Dom DeMarco Sr., who still makes every pie with his own hands, as he has for nearly 50 years, feels up to it! Dom Jr. explained that sometimes when this happens, his dad looks at it as a little bit of a break from the business.
The shutdown did, however, prompt some gloating from rival owner Gino Dedonato at the nearby Benny’s Pizzeria, as he called Di Fara's 'filthy, disgustingly filthy!' Dedonato went on to say that DeMarco doesn’t clean, and that his pizza is not even worth the money, but loyal customers weren’t buying Dedonato's gloat as they continued to buy his pizza! Some say they'll even wait an hour for a Di Fara pizza.
Okay, don't get me wrong! A good pizza is a good pizza, but if the place is not clean, I doubt that I would ever frequent this place. To be honest, this could be a job for Chef Ramsay and his Fox TV show "Kitchen Nightmares". I mean look at the picture above. The guy making the pizza isn't wearing gloves, and he's cutting the basil with scissors. WHAT? It was only a matter of time that this shop was closed down. If there were 67 violations and I only named like 4 or 5 of them, I can only imagine what the other 60 violations can possibly be!

Here's another "WTF" story from this weekend! Apparently, a phony plastic surgeon injected a Florida woman's derriere with cement, mineral oil, and Fix-A-Flat, the tire sealant. WHAT? Once again, I pose the question, what is wrong with people?

A Miami woman looking to work at a local nightclub started searching for doctor who could perform plastic surgery on her at a cheaper price than she's been finding on the Internet to give her a more curvaceous body. Well, she found what she was looking for, only the curves that she has now, wasn't quite what she expected.
The Miami woman, who remains nameless due to medical privacy laws, was referred through a friend to an Oneal Ron Morris, who was posing as a female doctor, and would fill her buttocks with cement, mineral oil and Fix-A-Flat, according to Florida police. Apparently, Morris, who was born a man but is identified as a woman, performed the surgery on herself (or himself), and investigators are also saying that she may have even victimized others.
Oneal Ron Morris, who is 30-years-old, was arrested on Friday after a year on the run and has been charged with practicing medicine without a licence and causing serious bodily harm on others. Police mugshots show Morris as a small-framed woman with lip-injected pouty lips, arched eyebrows, oversized hoop earrings, and a very large backside. She was released from jail on a bond.

The victim was said to have paid Morris $700 for a series of injections in her ass back in May of 2010. Morris injected some type of tube in several spots around her bottom area, pumping it full of the toxic concoction. As she was doing so, Morris reassured the woman when the pain became too intense, "Oh don't worry, you'll be fine. We just keep injecting you with the stuff and it all works itself out!" According to Miami Police, the victim was reluctant to come forward regarding her cheap plastic surgery. She immediately went to two hospitals when the abdominal pains became too severe and infected sores started appearing on her buttocks, which were accompanied by flu-like symptoms. The victim claimed to be too embarrassed to tell doctors what she'd done. Her mother eventually took her to another hospital, where alarmed doctors pressed her for information, and they alerted the Department of Health immediately.
The victim is still recovering from the corrective surgery and says it's too painful to go back to work. She's also racked up numerous medical bills to fix her accident. I guess it really doesn't pay to take the cheap way out, and shouldn't it have been a red flag when you were getting your plastic surgery done in the projects rather than a doctor's office? What are people thinking? I don't feel sorry for the victim at all because you can't feel sorry for stupidity! As for Oneal Morris, female or not, what a set of balls! Authorities believe there are other victims who may be too embarrassed to come forward, as well!

You're probably wondering who the guy to the left is. Well, his name is Anthony Hardwick from Omaha, Nebraska, and he's a Target employee, who recently launched an online petition asking the department store to drop its plans start their Black Friday sale at midnight on Thanksgiving. The  suddenly popular online petition is being hailed by some as a long overdue rebuke of corporate greed. Many who signed the petition went on to say that they also feel the stores should be closed on Christmas, as well, and that it's all become commericalized now. All these retail stores worry about is money, when their employees don't get a chance to enjoy the holidays with their families. To be honest, I see it from both ends. Who doesn't want to make money? We all do! In the same sense, holidays are about being with family, and being able to spend time with them instead of rushing off to go to work. I'm a little torn with this issue because I guess I would try to do both. It would, however, be one long day, which would lead to a "Do No Disturb" sign on the door to my house all day Saturday because I would sleep all day!

Anthony Hardwick's message has caught the eyes and ears of more than 155,000 people, who have signed the petition, which gets forwarded as emails to Target CEO and President Gregg Steinhafel, who by they way, I can guarantee will be home celebrating the holidays with his family, and will not be in the office working. Sound fair? Anyway, Hardwick's petition read, "A midnight opening robs the hourly and in-store salary workers of time off with their families on Thanksgiving Day!" To be honest, working on Thanksgiving should be an option with maybe time and a half incentives. It shouldn't be forced! With the incentives, it will make the employees to want to make money as opposed to spending time with their family. I'm sure everyone's heard at one time or another, "The money is too good to pass up!" I am sure family will understand that.

So, a Target spokeswoman, Molly Snyder responded, "We have heard from our guests that they want to shop at Target following thier Thanksgiving celebrations rather than only having the option of getting up in the middle of the night. By opening at midnight, we are making it easier than ever to deliver on our guests wants and needs." She went on to say that Hardwick is not and has never been scheduled to work on Thanksgiving or Black Friday at Target, which makes no sense why this kid is making so much noise about the issue. Since Hardwick launched his online campaign, more than 50 copycat petitions have sprung up, targeting stores like Macy's, Best Buy, Old Navy, and Kohl's, which all plan to open at midnight on Thanksgiving. Toys R Us announced that some of their stores will open for Black Friday sales as early as 9 PM on Thanksgiving Day.

As shoppers, my girlfriend and I look forward to the great deals on Black Friday every year. This year is no different, and with the economy floundering the way it is, it's really great to see the public excitement to spending money, even if it's just for one day. Bottom line is that if the stores are opening on Black Friday, I guess someone's going to have to work, but is it really necessary to cut into the time that these employees will have to spend with their families? What do you think? And was this guy, Anthony Hardwick, in his right to make so much noise about this even though he wasn't even working that day?

Do you know this man? Of course you don't! After I tell you what he did, I'll let you be the judge of his character. You see, this 20-year-old Delaware County man is facing countless charges after posting a sex tape of he and his ex-girlfriend on the Internet, without her consent obviously, in an act of revenge. That's right! Christopher Thomas Scott of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania is blaming heartbreak for his lapse of judgment. He was arrested on Monday for selling, designing and producing obscene materials, harassment, and a few other charges after the discovery of the raunchy sex video that he secret posted of consensual sex between him and his former girlfriend.

The sordid video, which was filmed two years ago, was discovered by the 24-year-old victim's employer, who immediately asked her to resign. Wait a minute! Does this mean that her employer was looking at porn on the Internet while he was at work? I mean, that's what it sounds like to me! Shouldn't the employer be in trouble too? And as a guy, would you really get rid of a female employee whom you just saw in a sex video? Anyway, that would be a whole other blog post!

So, according to the victim in question, since the video was discovered, she's been harassed by everybody she knows, and she's even started receiving derogatory wall postings on her Facebook page. Really? Since when was the word "Hot" considered derogatory?  At any rate, she's since deleted her Facebook profile.

The victim confronted Scott in his Newtown Square home back in September where she saw the Macbook that he allegedly used to post the video. She contacted the police right away, and in October, police served Scott with a search warrant to search his home. It was then that Scott confessed with a statement claiming that about 11 months ago, he posted the video of the couple having sex in a dorm room at Stevenson College in Maryland because he was upset over their breakup. He told police that he removed the video after two days and attempted to have it removed from other sites because he felt bad about posting the video without her consent or knowledge.

Police confiscated Scott's computer and were able to recover the pornographic material, which Scott earlier claimed that he deleted. While searching the computer, police also found images of child pornography. Police also found marijuana, a bong, and a pipe while they searched his house. So, now it seems wrongfully distributing porn with his ex is the least of his problems. I do have to say that I'm, at least, a little bit curious about this sex video. How about you? Or do you think that Christopher Thomas Scott is just a complete scumbag?

Since it's a slow news day, and I could care less about the Occupy Wall Street evictees and Penn State's drama; today, I'm choosing to gripe about a problem that I had just this morning! You see, a few weeks ago, my girlfriend got a traffic ticket for wrongfully making a left turn onto a local street. She was on her way to a new office within her company, which was closer to our house, but she was unfamiliar with the street signs on the main road and accidentally made the left, where there were actually 'no left turn' signs posted. Unfortunately, instead of paying attention to the street signs, she chose to pay attention to her GPS, and as we all know, steered her the wrong way and she got pulled over by an extremely nice police officer (sarcasm), who gave her the moving violation, which would include 3-points on her license. The points didn't sit well with my girlfriend, so she decided that she wanted to fight the ticket, to maybe lessen the charge and erase the points.

Growing up in North Jersey, I had plenty of traffic tickets and a plethora of points, which I worked back down to zero, I might add, but my point is that it's not secret that if you go to your appointed court date, you speak to the prosecutor, he works out a deal, gets you a lesser charge with no points, and you walk out just paying a hefty fine with no points on your license. Well, let's make our way to South Jersey, where my girlfriend's offense took place, and let's take a look at the summons above. Take a look at the "notice to appear" court date, which says "11-16-11, 8:30 AM". Mind you, I've been through this many times myself, and you just show up at the court, sit with the rest of the cattle, and wait for them to call your name. No phone calls! Nothing!

Well, today is 11-16-11, and at 8:30 AM, we walked into the Municipal Building only to find out that there was no judge there, nor was there court today. WHAT?????? Did anyone else see the "Notice to Appear" court date above??? Why would the nice cop (sarcasm) set a court date that he knew the judge wouldn't be at? It didn't make sense! The clerk told us that if we were pleading guilty, we had to call 7 days in advance to set a court date. WHAT????? Does anyone else see the "Notice to Appear" court date above??? That is the court date! You don't call 7 days in advance to schedule a court date when the court date is on the front of the ticket. She claimed that was only the date to pay the ticket by, and at this point, I'm pissed now, so I politely pushed my girlfriend to the side, and asked the lady, then why does it say 'court date' instead of 'pay the ticket' by this day? She said, "I'm sorry, those are the rules!" It took a lot to bite my tongue because I didn't want my girlfriends court date to go sour when it actually does come, so we left the municipal building, but what a crock of shit!

What is the reason of the phone call 7 days in advance to set a court date? So, that the judge gets notified that he actually has to work? And if the date that is inserted where it says "Notice to Appear" court date is the date the ticket is to be paid, then it should say so. I have to tell you, my experience living in South Jersey hasn't been a good one yet between this and their Unemployment Office, it seems nobody wants to work, yet I'm the one unemployed! Everything seems ass-backwards down here and so lackadaisical. We're really starting to second think our move down here! If it weren't for our lovely home and the peace and quiet around us, I think we would've been out of here already! Wake the "F" up, South Jersey!

A Fordham University student went to sleep drunk one night in his University's dormitory bed, and as weird as it sounds, woke up in a hospital bed paralyzed from the neck down. What? So, he went to bed drunk and woke up paralyzed? Nothing seems fishy about this? Maybe a possible scene from "The Hangover 3"?

According to the lawsuit blaming the Bronx campus, this 20-year-old Fordham University sophomore, Kei Usami fell nearly four feet off a school-supplied “loft” bed back in February, hitting his head so hard that the impact fractured his spine. His family is suing for neglecting to install guardrails on the bed. Really? This kid was 20, right? Did he really need guardrails on his bed? Anyway, the university’s student volunteer EMS squad only sealed the school tennis player’s fate by transporting him without a neck brace to St. Barnabas Hospital. Wait isn't that EMS 101? Even I know to stabilize the body in the case of a back or neck injury. I think there's your case rather than blaming the school for no guardrails!

Fordham University is blaming Usami for the incident accusing him of being irresponsible with "his voluntary consumption of large amounts of alcohol." Though, they're blaming Usami, Fordham has since sued two companies that supplied them the beds.
Fordham started providing the loft beds in their dorms after they started putting three students into two student dorm rooms. To me, it sounds like Usami is not blaming the beds, though. The lawsuit is claiming that the school neglected to put guardrails on the beds. Again, these are college kids, right? Not children or mentally challenged students. College kids!

After four months in the hospital and $1.1 million in medical bills, Kei Usami returned to his Darien, Connecticut home in a wheelchair, where he regained movement in his left hand after some grueling physical therapy. Usami returned to Fordham this fall to continue studying business, and when he goes to watch the tennis team that he used to play for, he has to be carried into the clubhouse. Usami says that his goal is to attend his 2013 graduation and walk up and get my diploma, which would be pretty cool, but I think that alcoholic negligence should be blamed for this accident, and not the school or the supposed faulty beds that their supplying for their students. What do you think?

Seriously now! What the hell is wrong with people? I read the story this morning and could not believe what I was reading. Apparently, a 41-year-old Massachusetts mother forced her 10-year-old daughter to pose nude for a man via Skype. Sick to your stomach yet?

Ann Lussier, of Attleboro, MA, claims that she was duped by a sick pervert posing to be a fashion photographer when she forced her 10-year-old daughter to pose nude over an Internet live chat. According to her lawyers, Lussier was hoping to win a $20,000 mother-daughter modeling contract when she forced her child to pose in a bikini, and then eventually completely disrobe, for a man who was watching on Skype. The court documents stated, "The parent had to show the man what both she and the victim looked like with no clothes on, reportedly so he could see the shape of their bodies." The unbelievably gullible mother, supposedly, didn't think it was fishy when the phony photog, who claimed to be in a Florida suburb, said they wouldn't be able to see him because his computer's camera was broken. Is it possible to be this dumb for $20,000?

It was Lussier's twin sister who reported the incident to the police after the desperate-wannabe-model mom complained to her about how her daughter had been so "uncooperative". The aunt also heard her little niece bawling in her room while her sister was complaining. Ann Lussier was arrested and charged with child endangerment last Tuesday.
After a heavy investigation, police eventually identified a Joshua Dunfee, from Oxford Junction, Iowa, as the online sex predator.

Dunfee was arrested and sent to Massachusetts to face federal porn charges, while
Lussier and her lawyer insist they were tricked by a "pervert." I'm not sure that Dunfee is the only guilty party here, though. Miss Lussier is just plain dumb! Why would you force your daughter to show her naked body through a webcam, or to a complete stranger, for that matter? I think that all partied should be punished on this one and maybe Lussier's twin sister should be caring for the little girl. This whole story is just so absurd!

How can I not end this week with a tribute to the men and women who fight and have fought for our liberties and freedoms? Today, who really cares that they're rioting up at Penn State over Joe Paterno? Who cares if Herman Cain sexually harassed former employees? Today is about honoring those who defend our freedoms as Americans by putting themselves in harms way, whether it was in Vietnam or Korea or Afghanistan or even Iraq. This day is all about them, and instead of wasting Internet space on people who really don't matter, I'd rather say "Thank You" to the people who really do! So, "Thank You and Happy Veterans Day" to all of men and women in the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, and the Marines, who fight for us everyday!

I do have a question, however. Does anyone really know why we chose November 11 as Veterans Day? I found this to be pretty educational! It turned out, the idea of honoring US soldiers in November reached way back to World War I, but it wasn't called Veterans Day back then.

The story goes like this; American troops made some significant headway in 1918, rebuffing a German offensive along the western front, and moving Allied forces deeper into enemy territory. By November, Germany apparently had enough, and agreed to a cease-fire, signing the official armistice at 5 a.m. on November 11. The treaty took effect six hours later. On the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month," and as the saying goes, the world knew peace once again!

The "War to End All Wars" had ended, and for the next 36 years, America would remember November 11 as Armistice Day. However, as we all know from our history books, war broke out again in 1939. A new generation of Americans risked their lives in World War II and the Korean War, and by 1954, the name Armistice Day didn't sound right anymore. So, Congress swapped out "Armistice" in favor of a word that could honor all of America's veterans, and Veterans Day was born!

The reason why I felt the need to remind you of Armistice Day this year is because for the first time, this holiday has landed on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – of the eleventh year, 11-11-11. Once again, Happy Veterans Day to all of our Vets out there! Don't forget to hug one or thank one if you see one today!

Well, it sounds like the major record labels have finally woken up and smelled the coffee! It turns out, the major labels are planning to abandon the whole CD-format by the end of 2012, or maybe even earlier, and replace it with 'downloading and streaming only' releases via iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and other related music services. According to some sources, the only CD-formats that will be available will be limited editions, which is the same thing they did with vinyls once they took those off the market. The limited releases won't be available for every artist, and the distribution model for these limited CD releases would be primarily handled by Amazon, which is already the biggest CD retailer worldwide.

This move makes absolute sense with the economy the way it is since CDs cost money, even when they don't sell because there is stock storage fee to be paid. For those of you who are not familiar with the other side of the music industry, a label pays money to the distributors when CDs get returned to them when they're not sold. In short, abandoning the CD-format will make it possible to just focus on the release and the marketing of the CD, and take the focus off of the distribution and expensive stock maintenance.

The end of the CD era will almost surely mean the end for many music shops worldwide that only stock and sell CD releases. For instance, in the U.K., HMV has been having problems paying the labels already and more problems will follow making the distribution of CDs no longer worth it for them.

Amazon.com will also benefit from this format abandonment because it will surely become the one and only player when it comes to distribution of the remaining CD productions from labels. Packaged next to regular album downloads via its own Amazon MP3 service, it will offer a complimentary service.

It was only a matter of time that CDs would become obsolete in the day of MP3 players. To be honest, I can't remember the last time I actually bought a physical CD myself. What will be the next thing to go? DVDs or printed magazines? One poll said that people have been consuming much of their information online where they also read most of their news. It will be interesting to see what goes next as technology starts it's takeover!

What do you guys make of all this?

One of the big headlines in recent weeks has been the Herman Cain sexual harassment case. I haven't really been following the case that closely because I could really care less about it since, to me, it seems like nothing but a smear campaign on this GOP Presidential candidate, or is it?

Yesterday, Herman Cain stated that all accusations saying he committed sexual harassment are "baseless," since a second woman went public about claims that led his former employer to pay her a settlement more than a decade ago.
In a recent news conference, Caine told reporters that he did not even recognize the woman who came forward on Monday with some more sexual misconduct allegations, Sharon Bialek. He went on to say that her claims saying that he groped her in a car while she tried to ask for help finding a job in 1997 "simply did not happen."

According to Cain, the allegations from Miss Bialek and three other women were planted by critics who don't want him to win the Republican nomination for President. He vowed this would not derail his campaign and he would remain in the race. Herman Cain could be telling the truth here because isn't it odd that these women happened to coincidentally come forward when Cain's popularity started to rise? Seriously, would they have come out of the woodwork if Cain was down in the polls? Just curious. Plus, look at the years that these occurences supposedly happened. They waited this long to come forward about a sexual harassment lawsuit? Wouldn't it make more sense to go after the sucker right away?

When it comes to sexual harassment, it gives me the douche chills to even hear those stories, and if he did indeed perform these acts, then I can't see myself supporting him. Then again, didn't we have a President that got a blow job from an intern while in the Oval Office? I say the past is in the past. It's not like he went to jail for being a sexual deviant or anything. I could see if this happened recently, then fine, this guy shouldn't be running! These are all just accusations! Leave the guy alone and just let The People make their own decisions on whether to vote for this guy rather than smear his campaign!

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and dog killer, Michael Vick is not only having a horrendous season with his team, but now he's dealing with an alleged nude photo scandal!

A woman claims to have a “full frontal” picture of Michael Vick, and is shopping the photo around to various media outlets in an attempt to make some quick cash.
According to Vick’s camp, 'He has better things to worry about right now, like football!' However, there's no outright denial that the actual photo exists.

According to the woman making these claims, the photo was easily identifiable as Michael Vick because of the unique tattoos “that appear all over his body including his signature Superman tattoo." She also claims that the photo was taken less than a year ago in a hotel room in Dallas, Texas. If anyone really cares, the picture is of Vick in the bathroom of a hotel room the night before a game taking the photos of himself. Apparently, the photos are from the neck down with all tattoos visible.

It's not secret that Vick famously went to prison in 2007 for his involvement in a professional dog fighting ring.  After his release, he was hired by the Eagles, and won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award in 2010. Does anybody really need to see this dog killer naked? This woman looking for a quick buck will probably not get that much since Vick is really an unpopular person especially around animal lovers. This must've been a slow news day since it was even a headline. Herman Cain, Penn State, and Jacko's doctor death seemed to rule the headlines, so I chose this story because it was just too funny!

What the hell happened to Penn State this weekend? After being off to an 8 and 1 start this season, it's looking like their personnel has taken quite a sack!
For those of you living in the dark, just hours after stepping down, two high-ranking Penn State administrators are facing arraignment on charges that they committed perjury on the grand jury investigating former defense coordinator, Jerry Sandusky, as they failed to properly report the suspected child abuse case that has left fans reeling.

Late Sunday, after an emergency meeting with the Board of Trustees, Penn State President Graham Spanier announced that Athletic Director Tim Curley and Gary Schultz, the school's senior vice president for business and finance, would be leaving their posts.
Former Coach Sandusky was arrested Saturday afternoon on charges that he sexually abused boys that he met through The Second Mile Foundation, a charity that he founded for at-risk youths. The charity released a statement on Sunday that Sandusky has had no involvement with The Second Mile programs since 2008, which is when Sandusky told the foundation that he was being investigated on child-sex allegations, a case that would rock the well-known State College, a campus town routinely ranked among America's best places to live and is actually nicknamed, Happy Valley.

Under head football coach Joe Paterno or Joe Pa, as many like to call him , who testified before the grand jury and isn't considered a suspect in this case, the team is usually revered both for winning games, including two national championships, and largely steering clear of trouble. Joe Pa probably adhered to the letter of the law when he told the school’s athletic director, but not the police, that former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky allegedly sexually abused a boy in the Nittany Lions’ locker room back in 2002. Though, Joe Pa never reported this to the police, attorneys familiar with child abuse statutes say that while the venerable college coach may not face criminal charges, he is hardly an innocent bystander.

Back in 2002, according to a grand jury report, current Penn State wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Mike McQueary told Joe Pa that he saw Sandusky having anal intercourse with a boy in a campus locker room shower. Paterno immediately told Athletic Director, Curley about the allegation. According to Pennsylvania state law, it is required that anyone who comes into contact with children in the course of their employment to report evidence of abuse to “appropriate authorities.” Failure to do so is a third-degree misdemeanor. The statute specifically lists teachers, nurses, doctors and child-care workers, among others, as those required to notify authorities when they suspect children in their care have been molested.

In another report that I read, Joe Pa stated that if all this is true, Sandusky had him "fooled". How did he have him fooled if he actually knew about the show molesting? I'm not sure if Joe Pa is totally innocent in this, but in any case, the whole child molesting situation is just gross, and Sandusky should definitely get what he deserves. As for Penn State's football team, they shouldn't allow these allegations to ruin their football season. Then again, it's off-the-field BS like this that ruins everything. The rest of this week should be pretty interesting up in Happy Valley!

Has anyone heard this story? Apparently, pop star diva, Justin Bieber is dismissing claims that he's the father of a 20-year-old woman's 3-month-old baby boy. The young woman, Mariah Yeater, claims that she was whisked away by a security guard to meet Justin Bieber following a tour stop in Los Angeles. She went on to say that shortly thereafter, Bieber suggested that the two go to a private place where they could be alone. First of all, how is this, at all, possible? I thought that Justin Bieber was a young lesbian this whole time! How can a young woman get another young woman pregnant? Biologically speaking, this is impossible! Well, unless Miss Yeater used a turkey baster with Justin's sperm in it, but then again, Justin is a young woman, meaning he doesn't produce sperm! Therefore, Mariah Yeater's claims must be absolutely false!

Mariah Yeater is seeking financial support from the Pop Diva. Oh, gee! Really? This is the oldest money scam in the book, honey! By the looks of this Miss Yeater, it looks like she stepped off of Any Trailer Park, USA, which means, she's obviously a 'white trash' hooker looking to make a quick buck! Going after Justin Bieber doesn't even make sense because he's a girl himself. His lesbian lover Selena Gomez can probably vouch for that!

Justine Bieber, as I like to call her, stated on the Today Show, "It's crazy! Every night after the show I'm gone right from the stage, right to the car, so it's crazy that some people want to make such false allegations, and to set the record straight, none of it is true!" Thanks, Justine! I believe you because it's biologically impossible for you to father anything! Mother, maybe!

So, I just finished watching a really disturbing video that really made my stomach turn. Apparently, this video has already gone viral via YouTube, but after viewing this for the first time, I have to say that this guy needs to be punished! Don't get me wrong, I'm all for disciplining your children, but only as long as they are doing something wrong. The Texas girl in this seven-and-a-half minute video clip, who is apparently is suffering from ataxic cerebral palsy, was really doing nothing wrong other than using the Internet like most kids her age. In this footage, though, she was seen being beaten for "using the Internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase", so her parents decided to beat her with a belt repeatedly with a dialogue that went like this:
"Bend over the fucking bed, dammit," the man said as he repeatedly beat the girl about her body with the belt. "Lay down or I'll spank your fucking face. ... I have to fucking beat you into submission. You want to put some more computer games on? You want some more? Fucking computer... See all the problems they cause?"

The male abuser was later identified as Aransas County Judge, William Adams, which I find to be really shocking. This is a guy who makes judgment calls according to the law, meanwhile, behind closed doors, or so he thought, this guy is beating the hell out of his mentally ill 16-year-old daughter? This was absolutely disgusting! When I was a kid, we would get spanked and or smacked when we did something wrong. In this day with strict child abuse laws, kids aren't really disciplined in that manner anymore. If watched this video, I don't think even back when I was a kid, that I've ever seen a beating like this. I don't even thing that Joan Crawford beat her daughter Christina with a wire hanger this badly. When the judge was beating his daughter with the belt, he was hitting her so hard that I think that I even felt it!

The video was caught on film with a hidden camera, by Hillary Adams, back in 2004. Hillary was the 16-year-old girl in the video getting beaten. She also went on to say that she finally decided to publish the video seven years later because her father's harassment was getting really bad and she suffered beatings, like this, from him for many years, so she wanted the world to see what a monster he was. Well, mission accomplished! He'll likely lose his seat as a judge in the Texas county, and he probably won't be able to show his face anywhere ever again, but they way he beat this poor girl, that is nearly not punishment enough!

Guess who's not smiling anymore? After 72 days of wedded bliss, Kim Kardashian has filed for a divorce from New Jersey Nets forward, Kris Humphries. Are you kidding me? If I'm not mistaken, they were engaged a lot longer than 72 days! What an embarrassment for both parties. It seems the 26-year-old Humphries was only a piece of the 31-year-old Kardashian's puzzle, but what is confusing is what sense does that piece make? Kim is a businesswoman, or so we think, who seems to be hot as hell with her voluptuous body that can make any man happy. It's no wonder Humphries is so sad to see her go!

I have to be honest, who besides me, is laughing out loud about this whole situation? Seriously, only two and a half months, and you already decided that you couldn't make your marriage work? Here's another question I have, what happens with the millions of dollars in wedding gifts these two accepted? Do the gifts get returned, or at least, donated to some charity? If I was a guest at the Kardashian wedding, I would've been pretty pissed off about this!

Personally, I think that Kris Humphries makes out anyway in this whole divorce. Yeah, he might be losing that sweet piece of ass, but now he doesn't have to be on TV anymore, and he never has to be known as Mr. Kim Kardashian ever again, while Kim remains a dumb reality TV star and she can go back to dating thugs who will film her having sex with them. If you weren't ready to get married, then why do it. I say Kim Kardashian deserves this week's a-hole of the week.....Maybe even the year!
