I saw
this story last week and wanted to blog about, but a couple of other stories
really tickled my fancy instead. Anyway, we all know that Sony's PlayStation 4
or PS4 was recently released for the holidays, right? Well, one new PS4 owner
decided to use the system's new live-streaming feature to share his drunk,
presumably unconscious wife's breasts with the online gaming community for a
good 15 minutes. Then the channel went dark and when it returned, she was
completely naked. Yes, he took all of her clothes off for the world to see.
Unbelievable!
The
couple, known online as Darckobra, recorded themselves with a pre-installed app
for the game system known as Playroom. It allows PlayStation Camera owners to shoot
full screens of their entire living room. The stream is then broadcast through
the live video streaming platform, Twitch.
It
started innocently enough with the couple drinking while sitting on their
couch, but everything seemed to go south after the wife passed out. Twitch
quickly gave Darckobra and several other accounts the boot for breaching the
terms of service. The service then proceeded to Tweet out a summer of its
guidelines: "FYI: We continue to moderate according to our Terms of
Service. Non-gaming content is not allowed. Non-gaming content: if using PS4
Playroom, the content must be about games or gaming within our Terms of
Service. Thanks for understanding."
Twitch
claims to be vigilant about in appropriate material and will either ban or
suspend the associated account depending on the severity. I have to say that at
first, I thought that it was pretty hilarious that this guy took advantage of a
live-streaming video platform to expose his naked passed out wife for all the
world to see, but then after thinking about it, I felt that this guy was a
pretty big douchebag and his wife should beat the everlasting shit out of him
for doing that. I mean, who does that to their wife? Unless, he was trying to
get revenge on her for cheating or something.
My future
brother-in-law seemed to be pretty upset about it. He's a big gamer and said
that this only ruins things for everyone else who wanted to use the Playroom
for gaming purposes. He told me that PS4 has since disabled the Playroom app.
Like they always say, though; "It takes one douchebag to ruin it for all
of us!" So, thank you Darckobra, you prick!
