KIDS SUSPENDED FOR TOPLESS TEACHER....WHAT?

Okay, I'm not really sure that I understand this one, but apparently, two middle school students from Indiana were recently suspended after they accidentally saw a topless photo of their teacher on a classroom iPad. 13-year-old Joshua Troutt said that the racy photo popped up when he and a couple of other classmates were playing a game on the school-issued device, which they say was synched to the female teacher's iPhone. 

Troutt, a student at Highland Middle School in Anderson, Indiana, stated "It's not our fault she had the photo on there. We couldn't do anything not to look at it." Believe it or not, I actually believe these kids. It's the teacher's fault for having this type of photo on her phone and not to mention really dumb of her to sync her iPhone to a school-issued iPad that kids will use. Here's what I don't understand; Troutt was among the students suspended for looking at the photo. One other student was also suspended, one received a warning, and a fourth student was expelled for the incident, while the school district does believe it was an accident, they will be taking action against the teacher as well.

The students involved were said to be punished because they violated the school's technology policy, which I really don't understand. The person who should be punished here is the teacher. The kid's accidentally found the provocative photo, and to be quite honest, if I saw a pic of my teacher topless, I probably wouldn't have been able to draw my eyes away from the iPad either. The problem here is why was this content even available to see for these kids? And why was a student actually expelled for it? Unless, the kids actually found a way to sync the iPad to her phone to find the pictures and made a big deal about it in class. Then this would all make sense, but I'm not getting the feeling that this happened by reading the story. 

 Troutt's mother is furious that her son was punished, and I don't blame her. She thinks the teacher should have lost her job. Nicole Troutt told a local TV news channel, "In all reality, you'd think she'd be fired! That's a nude picture in the school that the students saw. My son didn't even touch the iPad. Another kid pulled up the picture on the iPad. He never touched it, period!" Either way, Mrs. Troutt says she might pull her son from the school if the district doesn't reverse the punishment. I have to tell you; I really don't understand why these kids are being punished. It's not like they took the nude photos of the teacher. Am I wrong?

 

BOOBY TRAP?

This story actually came out last week, but since today is all about the Election, I figured I'd get this weird story out there. By the way, get out there and vote today! If you don't, you really have no right to say anything about our future! Anyway, get this story; a Texas police officer allegedly threw a woman against her car during a traffic stop and manhandled her so roughly that one of her breast implants ruptured. WHAT? Is this even possible? The only time that I've ever heard this happen was in the WWE when Chyna aka Joanie Lauer ruptured her breast during a house show. The difference is Chyna is a wrestler. Does this mean if this girl is manhandled during sex, she has to worry about her boob popping? I'm not sure I believe this!

So, Rebecca Van Hooser, from Arlington, Texas, is claiming that a Pantego cop, Eric Alverez, pulled her over, while she was out buying cookie dough, for a busted headlight when he discovered a warrant for her arrest due to an unpaid speeding ticket. Apparently, she got out of the car; the officer grabbed her, threw her against the car, kicked her legs open to spread them, and forcefully grabbed her arms and yanked them behind her back. Van Hooser is said to be suing the Pantego Police Department for the October 28, 2011 incident, which she is claiming caused her right breast implant to split and leak fluid into her body. 

 Van Hooser's attorney is also alleging that the arrest has led to several medical issues including two hematomas as a result and that now she has to have a partial mastectomy tissue transplant and new boobs. There's been no comment from the Pantego Police Department. Is it me or is this story a little far-fetched? Don't get me wrong, I believe that when you put a foreign object in your body, there's bound to be accidents, but breast implants? Really? Unless, she had the cheap implant job, how can this happen from a little rough housing? I'm no fake-boob expert, though, I've felt many....and I mean many...in my day, but I just can't picture this happening from a little roughness. Any thoughts?

VERIZON WIRELESS PERVERTS

Here's a little nightmare for all of you cell phone users who like to take nude photos of yourself or some sort of body part to text your other half. Apparently, two perverts at a Verizon Wireless store in Florida are being accused of copying nude photos of a female customer from her phone and then sharing them with at least one other customer. What a bunch of a**holes! 

Police in Bartow, Florida arrested 26-year-old Gregory Lampert (right) and have a warrant out for 24-year-old Joshua Stuart following a September 14 incident where a female customer went to their Verizon Wireless store to get her damaged cell phone replaced. According to the Bartow police, Stuart helped the unidentified customer, who is a waitress at a nearby restaurant, to transfer data to her new phone. After she left, Stuart allegedly kept her old phone, which still had her data on it. Why would anyone do that? This kind of makes you lose faith in sales people whom you're supposed to trust. 

On October 18, a male customer came into the store to upgrade his phone, and according to police, Stuart helped the customer and asked if he "knew of any waitress or bartenders in the area." Then he tried to open a file on the store's computer, but found that the file had been erased. So, Stuart asked Lampert to show the customer the photos that they allegedly kept of the female customer, who Stuart claimed left 'banging' pictures on her cell phone. Stuart then, apparently, used Lampert's phone and showed the customer copied pictures of the female customer without any clothes on. It turned out; the male customer immediately recognized her as a friend. He, obviously, went and told her what had happened and she reported it to the police immediately. She did confirm that the pictures were graphic and showed her in various states of undress. 

 Bartow police and the State Attorney's office went into the Verizon Wireless store with a search warrant and found the pictures of the woman on Lampert's phone and computer at the store. He was arrested at the scene and booked at Polk County Jail. Stuart, who was said to be out of state, is expected to be arrested this week. The men face felony charges, including dealing in stolen property, theft of computer data, and distributing lewd material. If I was Stuart, I might stay out of the state of Florida. As for Lampert, you deserve what you get you pervert! These guys are probably the same guys who used to work at the CVS photo department and used to steal people's photos if there was a hot girl in the bunch of photos and claim that she was their girlfriend! What a bunch of low lives!   

"JERSEY SHORE" CHEAPSKATES

After calling the MTV hit reality show, the "Jersey Shore" a guilty pleasure of mine for the last few years, I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed in these kids who reached fame and much fortune from having their lives chronicled in a town that seems to no longer exist because of Hurricane Sandy. Why am I disappointed? Well, it's almost been a week since the storm hit and these kids haven't really done anything to help the efforts. Okay, Jennifer "J-Wow" Farley was on Leno this past Tuesday calling the destruction "devastating" and asked people to donate to the American Red Cross, while her co-stars Pauly "D" DelVecchio, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Vinny Guadagnino asked their Twitter followers to donate $10 to the American Red Cross by texting REDCROSS to 90999. Really? First of all, anyone who's anyone knows that the Red Cross has become one of the biggest scams on the face of this earth. Back when 9/11 happened, how much of the 9/11 relief donated to the Red Cross was actually used? In fact, I remember a news story stating that the Red Cross's volunteers were stealing money from the organization. So, that is the last place I would donate my money to. 

Second, these kids from the Jersey Shore have become international celebrities, who get paid a lot of money from their hit show and the many appearances they do throughout the year. I haven't read one news story yet that said one of these kids reached into their own pockets to help pay or donate towards reconstructing the destructed town of Seaside Heights, NJ, the town that has virtually made them overnight sensations. Am I being too hard on these kids? Maybe, but now is 'their' time to give back! You have to give props to people like Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera and Sting, who will be performing a benefit concert tonight in Rockefeller Center to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Back in the 80s, Bon Jovi filmed his "In And Out of Love" video right on the same boardwalk that got washed away in the storm, and Springsteen, well he's The Boss of New Jersey! You can bet each one of these celebs donated their money to help their home states, but yes, they too are asking for donations to the American Red Cross, unfortunately! The point that I'm trying to make is that they are donating their time to the places they grew up in.

 Are the Jersey Shore kids donating any money? I guess who knows? Should they be? YES! Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Deena Cortese, and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola are all Jersey residents, and not a peep out of them wanting to help out this 'situation'. Then again, they might not have power! What about Danny Merk, who actually owns the house that the kids lived in for the past four summers and the Shore Store? This guy's lost it all, but he's got his plywood ready to get back into Seaside to fix up the iconic house. I think the Jersey Shore kids should be right next to him helping him rebuild. That would make me feel better about them donating their time! Forgetting about asking The Real Housewives of New Jersey for a donation! We all know how that story goes already! At least, these Jersey Shore kids are making an effort in asking for donations. I would just like to see them do the donating as well. I know that I'll catch some flack for writing this blog today, but again, it's my opinion and as for my feelings about the Red Cross, it's because of a past experience with them that left a bad taste in my mouth, but that's a whole other blog!

YES, IT'S BECOME THIS BAD......

It's secret that much of New Jersey and Manhattan is still without power thanks to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Due to the lack of power, many stores find themselves throwing a lot of their foods into the dumpsters. Well, like they say, "One man's garbage is another man's treasure!" That's how bad it's getting in downtown Manhattan where they still have no power. Dozens of city residents who were frustrated with day two of the black-out surrounded a garbage bin just North of Little Italy that was filled with $40,000 worth of pricy fresh food. 

It turns out; Met Food supermarket workers at the corner of Prince and Mulberry were forced to toss garbage bags full of stuff like Pom pomegranate juice, soy chai latte, organic eggs, Ben and Jerry's ice cream, to clear the shelves in the wake of Sandy's aftermath. Store owner Paul Fernandez said that his store, like most stores south of 40th Street, has been without power since Sandy hit on Monday forcing him to trash the entire deli section along with all his meats and dairy products. 

He says, "I had to throw out all of my perishables. I can't sell it to anybody. It's like $40,000 worth of food. We carry a lot of specialty items and organic items." Fernandez also said that he was shocked to see the hordes of people packing shopping carts and backpacks with his groceries. He claims, "They are taking advantage." Are they really now, Paul? People have been stuck in their homes for almost 3 days and most without power. People taking food from a dumpster and out of necessity is hardly taking advantage, especially, if they have no food in their homes or a working ATM to get cash. 

 One NYU student said that she'd been wandering the streets all day looking for a functional ATM or an open store to order or buy food. Her apartment on 23rd Street is without power and rotting food in the fridge. Then she saw a bunch of people in the Dumpster and a heap of food, which she says was a Godsend! One family showed up with a shopping cart and spent over an hour tearing open trash bags and tossing groceries to his family and people too embarrassed to ask for the food. Down the block, Paradise Deli and Grocery was open using dozens of candles to light the dark store. Owner Aziz Benani watched as he lost his customers to the free piles of food.

For those of you asking or wondering how bad it is on the East Coast, here's your answer! It's so bad that now we have people jumping into dumpsters for food! Lines at the gas stations are miles long, which I haven't seen, since the gas crisis in the early 80s. Okay, now I'm aging myself. The answer to your question, though, is "Yes, it's that bad!"
