THE PANHANDLING ARSON

Did you ever wonder what goes through panhandler's head's when you don't give them your spare change? I mean, I personally, never thought about it. Sometimes, if I have it, I'll throw some change in their cup to 'pay it forward', but we all know where that change is going. That's why sometimes, I choose to ignore them. Growing up in the New York area, you kind of grow accustomed to ignoring panhandlers. Well, one panhandler in Long Beach, California, apparently had enough of the ignoring treatment and decided to do something about it. He set a man's car on fire after the man refused to give him change. Yup! Take a look at the photo! Panhandlers are now bullying people for their spare change. What is this world coming to? 

The victim, a 63-year-old man, was approached by the panhandler, 37, outside a 7-Eleven store in Long Beach this past Friday afternoon. The older gentleman simply said "No" and continued to walk into the convenience store. It sounds like something any of us would do if we didn't have any spare change on us. As the older gentleman was leaving, the panhandler followed him to his SUV, and then poured a flammable substance through an open window, dousing the victim and his car. Then, he lit it on fire and in minutes the truck and its passenger were engulfed in flames. What a mess!

One eyewitness said that with one door open you can actually see the entire inside of the truck was ablaze. He continued to say that the man came out of his truck and his entire shirt and head were on fire. He said it was like a horror scene in a movie. The victim suffered third-degree burns and is in critical condition at a local hospital.

Police have arrested the panhandler, who will likely be charged with arson and attempted murder. Authorities are calling it a random act of violence. The two men are not believed to have known each other. Neighbors told a local news station that they had often seen the panhandler in the area, but never suspected he was capable of something so horrific. I have a question, though; where the hell did this guy find the money to buy lighter fluid? I just can't believe that this is what it's coming to when you don't give people your spare change? What's next? You get your throat sliced because you don't have a quarter in your pocket? This happened in Long Beach, California, no less! People are so much more laid back over there on the west coast. This older gentleman must have been rude to this particular panhandler on more than one occasion. It doesn't make it right, though! Innocent people getting hurt on a daily basis....Maybe the world is coming to an end.  

BEGGING FOR BOOBS!

Instead of beating up on the late Joe Paterno and Penn State like everyone else seems to be doing in the news the past two days, I'm choosing to end this week on a lighthearted note since this week has been full of idiots on my blog! Oh, wait! This one looks like an idiot too! After I tell you what she did, though, you might not think that she such an idiot after all!

You see, this bikini-clad panhandler didn't stop traffic on a busy street in Ohio because she was homeless. Chrissy Lance chose to panhandle because she needs $5,000 for breast implants! That's right! She didn't go out and get a loan. She didn't ask a friend to lend her money. She didn't bust into her life savings, if she had any. Chrissy Lance chose to stake out a busy street corner in Akron, Ohio and hold up a sign that reads "Not Homeless. Need Boobs!" The flat-chested brunette told a reporter that she was inspired by other beggars, and she made sure to get the required panhandling license from the city.

Lance, who lives in Rittman, Ohio, says that she sees people panhandling every day, so why not panhandle for boobs? She also claimed that it's an original idea! The single mom and college student said that the money she makes as a barmaid pays the bills, but it's not enough to pay for her new boobs, which she says would improve her "self-esteem."

So far, the majority of Lance's collections have been nothing but catcalls and wolf whistles, but she has, however, made about $90. She says she's not discouraged and won't leave her post until she reaches goal! Good for her! This is a girl who is determined! Unfortunately for her, at the rate she is going, she's going to be out there for another 50 days! Hopefully she reaches her goal by winter. It will be a tough sell with a winter coat on! Anyway, I thought this was a pretty funny story, so I needed to share it!
