Everyone
remembers the movie Fight Club, right? Well, it looks like a daycare
center in Delaware is housing the next Tyler Durden! That's right! I said a
daycare center. God, I love this story! It turns out; three employees of a
Dover, Delaware daycare called The Hands of Our Future LLC Daycare were
arrested Monday after police say a 'disturbing' cell phone video allegedly
captured two toddlers participating in an organized fist fight. The daycare
currently has its license suspended pending a hearing.

While
the footage was not released publicly, police said one of the children could be
heard yelling, "He's pinching me," while one of the workers
responded, "No pinching; only punching!" Allegedly, one of the
children was crying and did not want to continue on, but was pushed back into
the fray by one of the adults. Okay, seriously! Who has never been here before?
It sounds to me they were only teaching the boys how to fight. Court records show
that Parker was forcing the toddlers to fight while Harris and Myers looked on
and laughed spurring on the altercation.

The
only wrong that I see in this is that these kids weren't their own. I agree
that they shouldn't be egging these kids on to fight. That was wrong. As for
the fighting though, boys will be boys, so let them fight! It's the only way
they will learn how. When did we become a society where we coddled our children
to a point where we're borderline putting them in a bubble? For instance, I
recently bought by nephews and niece a 12 foot trampoline with a net for their
backyard. My sister decided to return it after hearing horror stories about
kids breaking their arms and legs. So, what? Kids are durable! No one coddled
us from those things when we were growing up. They sent us out there to ride
our bikes (without helmets), eat dirt, get our bumps and bruises, and fight who
we needed to survive. Kids today are nothing but a bunch of wusses! I know I'm
going to catch some backlash for saying that, but those who have something to
say, just reflect back to the time when you were growing up and you won't have
a thing to say to me!
