Could you hurt
this precious little face? Even if you weren't an animal lover, how can you
hurt something so defenseless? Well, an 11-year-old girl from Upstate New York
had no problems killing this puppy with her bare hands because her foster
mother wouldn't let her have her way! That's right! This little psychopath is
being charged with two felonies for allegedly brutalizing her foster mother's
puppy to death. For those of you who will argue that the girl didn't know any
better because she was only 11-years-old or it's only a dog, you can stop right
there! At 11-years-old, you definitely know better! And a dog is still a life,
how can anyone harm something that is living? This girl needs to be tried like
an adult! If she can do this to a defenseless animal as a child, she can do it
to a human being when she gets older.
Putting her away for a long time
will do society a favor!
So, according
to the story, a Saratoga girl was reportedly staying overnight at an overnight
foster home in Lake George on Sunday, when she asked the foster mother for a
ride. When the foster mother said no, the girl slammed the woman's 13-week-old
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel against a floor and bed post until it eventually
died. The obvious reason? Because she didn't get her way, according to State
Police who showed up at the scene.
Police are
charging the girl with aggravated cruelty to animals and criminal mischief. The
case is being handled in Warren County Family Court because of the girl's age.
The Warren County Probation Department could put the 11-year-old in some sort
of diversion program or decide to have the case prosecuted in court. I say
throw the book at her! She's a little sicko! This story is so disturbing and
I'm sure all of you who own pets feel the same way I do. Some people are really
sick! In this instance, the little girl didn't even own the dog! It belonged to
the owner of the house who was fostering her. That takes a lot of nerve and a
lot of balls!
According to
the SPCA of Upstate New York, this was rare to see such a brutal act involving
someone so young, and that the correlation between domestic violence and animal
abuse is a known fact. Back in 2001, the FBI reported on youth violence and
found that the harming or killing of animals can serve as a "red
flag" for identifying the child's potential for violent behavior with
other people, or at least, shed some light on the child's own victimization. In
this 11-year-old's case, according to a spokesperson from the SPCA, "We
can't lose fact that the child really needs some major, serious help before
other victims are in her line."
I have a better
idea! Lock the little girl up! This way we're all safe! I'm in total agreement
with the FBI report. Anyone who can hurt or kill any living being once has the
potential to hurt or kill again and again. Besides the sicko little girl, what
about the foster mother? Now, she's without a pet! If I was her, I would be
suing the company who place the little girl in my home. The poor lady is now
without a puppy all because she was trying to be nice by fostering a child. Is
anyone else disturbed by this?
