Okay, I saw this story a few weeks ago, but I could've sworn that I read that it was a joke or something. Well, I guess it's not! What the hell is going on in this world that girls are now auctioning off their virginity to the highest bidder? That is what a Brazilian student named Catarina Migliorini did. She recently sold her virginity via an online auction for a staggering $780,000. Who needs a lottery? If you ask me, this makes her nothing but a high paid hooker!

Anyway, a man who is calling himself Natsu, from Japan, had to fight off some pretty strong competition from American bidders like Jack Miller and Jack Right, and even a big-spender from India named Rudra Chatterjee, to secure his date with Migliorini's 20-year-old destiny. The auction for her virginity ended yesterday morning at around 4 am EST, and Migliorini, a phys ed student, said that she will use the cash to build houses for poverty-stricken families in her home state of Santa Catarina. By the way, she was the subject of 15 bids. 

 Catarina's controversial move sparked international outrage, with many calling her 'no more than a prostitute!' Wait! Didn't I just call her a hooker? Sounds like I'm dead on! She also furthered her controversy when she revealed that she would be followed every step of the way by an Australian film crew for a documentary called Virgins Wanted. Catarina was quoted as saying, "If you only do it once in your life, then you are not a prostitute, just like if you take one amazing photograph it does not automatically make you a photographer. The auction is just business. I'm a romantic girl at heart and believe in love. But this will make a big difference to my area." Um, hmmmm...You’re getting paid to have sex! HOOKER! It's just business and not love. HOOKER! She can say what she wants, but at the end of the day, it is what it is..."Hooker for a day!"  Catarina will be 'delivered' to her buyer on board a plane between Australia and the U.S. She will be interviewed by the film crew before and after the sexual act.
